Profiles are tricky, That dude could have a broader nose from a front view.

Informative thread. I never realized ancient Egyptians were black. Thought they were closer to arab.

I remember in high school we were talking egypt and i said it was in africa. And some white bytch was like "No its not, how was it in africa they built stuff"

Set her dumbass straight. Then she came at me with the "they were light skinned, more arab then african" And i didn't have a rebuttal. Should find her on facebook and roast her.

So because you read another quote on the coli, that makes it true?

Being this gullible brehs
They did a special on it on NatGeo, not saying you're wrong but they said pharaohs were giving them golden inscribed "rulers" ,nicknacks, food, water and such. Those pharaohs were like pimps they had that I'll take care you if you take care me type shyt going.

Gilded wood cubit, gift of the pharaoh Amenhotep III, and wooden folding cubit with leather case from the tomb of Kha at Deir el Medina, New Kingdom, Dynasty XVIII, Egyptian civilization
(They used these to measure and build the pyramids)

But your right, they could've been slaves too. I don't know why folks think you can't have both.
I'm pretty sure there were slaves and regular working class building them pyramids. I don't think pharaohs would have had them slaves just sitting around doing nothing. Those dudes were in trenches too, They probably had the lame jobs and got that bread full of sand.

This was the best post in 30something pages to be honest.

I don't understand why would you put up a dead corpse, when there were structures made of her liking when she was alive. What was the point of posting this picture? If you went to google images, they have tons of other pictures, yet you show this one. Is it because of the straight hair? Looks like you're being deceptive.

This what I've seen her as
maxresdefault.jpg

This is why this stuff is confusing, everyone wants a stake in it so too many people will use science or just plain lie to make it look like the AE were part of their group, even though they left pictures, and sculptures of themselves. Why is it that every time I look at what they put up, its no question they were black, but we are still discussing this, and then people find small things that have nothing to do with what we can actually see, and use that as proof that the AE weren't black. They use dna(that can be manipulated), dead corpses showing straight hair(which may be for other reasons or their hair), or they show the few pictures on the walls showing a few can be argued are what we knows as Arabic today. They do everything but look at all the other pictures that show nothing but black people with black hair, and when they show AE women they have on headdresses and weaves. The same shyt is happening today with black women. The truth is plainly in your face, yet people still act like they don't see this. A lot of people are really mental, and only see what they want to see. It is crazy when you look at it for what it is.

Nah

not selective just lazy

sometimes I get tired of these discussions out of disinterest...not cause i'm stumped or stuck for a response

anyways to address the rest of your post

Regarding "Blackness"....IMO it needs to be defined to justify it's continued usage (I would like to elaborate in private msg)

You made a claim that Sudan is where some of the only people who practice Ancient African spirituality? How so? How can you qualify this statement?

The most popular African Traditional Religion (Ifa) is practiced all over West Africa and is internationally recognized.

What is the name of the indigenous spiritual system that they practice in Sudan?

Abrahamic religions were developed outside of Africa. FACTS!

The only people I hear say that Judeo-Christianity and Islam have African roots or/are African religions are Black Americans.

At around 11:15, this non Black theologian speaks on Moses, Hebrew religion and customs being influenced by Egyptian/African belief. This whole lecture is pretty insightful

This Black British breh did his own research, and laid out how he came to his conclusions as well.
The whole clip is useful but around 10min mark he starts speaking on the ancient African-Egyptian influence of other cultures and religions. He also tells us where hes getting his info so we can fact check ourselves...

He shows us in their own writing that they believed in 1 all powerful creator, and that the "gods" were simply attributes of the creator (16 min mark)

Black Americans aren't the only ones waking up:blessed:
