I was always annoyed by the humor in Marvel but this is the first time I felt it wasn't out of place. If they do Damage Control the humor would fit there, too.

As fan of the John Byrne and Dan Slott's runs, I think they are doing a good job with this show so far

Only thing I didn't like is how bytchmade the Wrecking Crew looked but Marvel has a thing with reducing some B tier and lower characters to a throwaway joke, unfortunately

i don't know about all that, but you mentioning rocket made me think of how horrible they're pivoting with Captain Marvel. incels hated on her, so they tried to give her some one liners post movie and they basically came back with, "listen up furrface" or some shyt. her dialogue since her movie has been pretty awful

Really just the actress is wooden, i think someone else with those same lines would probably sell it better.

Low key they probably didn't mean for it to be taken that way, but thats how i saw it too.
