That's the way its always been but that doesn't mean its the most healthy. Kids benefit from a dad whose all those things you mentioned but they also benefit from a father whose present. A girl can have a father whose a provider and a good example of a man BUT if he's isn't affirming her everyday and giving her a sense of self worth, she'll be at a real deficit and have self esteem issues.

I'd imagine his mom, grandma, aunt, etc told him something like that in the last decade too. Children are not toys that you pick up or sit down in one place or another. Creating broken homes on purpose is mentally and emotionally damaging, and it's financially damaging. 8 children, 3 women...for a guy that will never play professional sports again and has a lot of living left to do. You willingly blew up your financial future for what exactly...
There has to be shame and embarrassment involved again. Allowing culture to constantly promote chaos and disorder has a negative impact on our culture and society. Being a single mother is a financial lynching for most women. Your ability to escape poverty and have a comfortable life reduces heavily. And being a father who willingly isn't in the home is cowardly. Stop letting these men off the hook and call it what it is, sucker shyt.
