this shyt might be the biggest lame duck in movie history. Shazam was "cute" and only really worked b/c it was part of a growing "universe." now it's dead. adding an old lady and some other woman who hasn't really been a star in 20 years isn't moving the needle for people. i don't think people are running to see this knowing it's dead in the water and Helen Miran is the biggest star in the cast. tough break for all involved, but at least they got another check. ... oh and it looks pretty bad on top of all that.

how can it not be? Shazam has some shyt going for it - it was a minor tonal shift from other stuff, it was fun, there was the idea he might meet Cavill or The Rock down the line, etc... now it's a bunch of no name actors fighting shytty CGI dragons and old women? in a dead universe. i bet if they were like 1 month less into production when all the turnover happened, they would have just flushed this entire project
