you gotta realize, everything HBK was good at in-ring, was being done better by a lot of guys in WCW.
and his whole persona would've gotten "go away heat" from the WCW crowd.
to his advantage, he was tight with some of the big dogs over there.
keep telling yall, the WWF during that time period was a small pond of talent with a big fish machine making it seem like it was more than it was. yall see what happened when bret hart went over there to crickets, and hes respected more by that crowd than HBK, and he still flopped.
then add HBK's
persona to the mix, and its a wrap jack.
