Do y'all really feel that his involvement is effective in any way? Sucker shyt would be fear of speaking out or questioning "leaders" even your own. A march isnt a protest it doesn't disrupt and itsn't very effective in 2014. Its doesn't raise awareness far beyond those who already knew or were involved in it. Who exactly did he raise awareness to?

I agree. Marches are a waste of time. You cant defeat a system by playing within its rules. You have to cause disruption. But that requires a sacrifice not many folks are willing to make. They would rather just march peacefully and pray for cacs to change their ways.

On the one hand saying something is needed, and someone needs to say it, but sometimes the messenger can cause the message to lose it's intended affect. I honestly think that's where Sharpton is now, he, be it intended or not, outshines the message and instead of people hearing the message they hear, "AL sharpton complaining".
