is it the fukked up townspeople? cant be, dont spend enough time with them

is it the fukked up family? i guess, dad gets little to no screen time to expound on his simpitry and bytchassness. moms a a$$hole, sister is weird and amy been through some shyt i guess we are supposed to connect with via the flashbacks?
