It was the official retail version. It was dec 1st 2000, less than 3 weeks before Snoop dropped the album. Suge put mp3 downloads for all the tracks and then put up a few tracks from Dead Man Walkin which dropped the day before he did this and said do the Snoop Dogg challenge and see what album is better lol. Classic Suge shyt. The original version that was supposed to be a double album leaked in the summer of 2000 though, it was being sold on E-bay for at least a month or two before the auctions started getting shut down.
is it a file that can't be split up?
I could split files up yeah just thought it would be easier in one file for Reels
Mega seems to be a popular choice for larger files. I cant get Mega to work for me when I try to upload though.

The Next Episode obviously exists in much better quality lmao. It was recorded to a master tape. Whatever is online right now was just taken from a bad/old cassette tape that was probably made to let somebody hear it easily.

Sounds like someone layered the instrumental from the Crooked I track over the Dre/Snoop vocals. The instrumental being out there doesn't seem far fetched if it was on the Wideawake server, but anyone having the original track in great quality is another issue. Still need proof that the song itself in good quality is floating around before I believe it.
