I know Penny was a more efficient player...definitely a better playmaker. I could see how he was probably more fun for Shaq to play with. But to say he was “just as good”

Penny was never as dominant as Kobe was. At his peak he was a 21/8/7 guy

At Kobe’s peak he was a 30/5/6 guy

Honestly, Penny never reached his peak. By age 25, he wasn’t the same player anymore. I saw Penny play in real time, and he was incredible. BBIQ was top notch.
