What y’all expect from a nikka that says black people get shot by police because they are disrespectful?

Foreal...dude was a HOF Pg without the HOF numbers. Had at least 7yrs as a top 2 pg and top 10 player

And yet his numbers are:ld:

Glad I got see games like this

CP3 couldn’t erupt like this:wow:

Relative to his era and those before him, Deron has/had HOF numbers. Before the 10s point guards needing 25 PPG to be seen as a elite wasn't a thing, at 18 & 10 you were at the top of your position.
was D Will ever eilte tho???:patrice:

CP3 still playing at a high level

yea they both from the 05 draft but CP3 still playing tho
D-Will was elite, it just didn't last long enough in comparison to the other PG he's forever attached to.

I'm actually conflicted cause he was just ok when I look at his numbers and accolades

Context.

Chauncey's numbers are: 15.2/2.9/5.4
Nash's numbers are: 14.3/3.0/8.5
Jason Kidd's numbers are: 12.6/6.3/8.7
CP3's numbers are: 18.3/4.5/9.4

These were the other elite point guards during Deron's run he fits right in numbers wise. The only guy who was really blowing up in terms of scoring during the years one would consider peak D Will was Pooh. There were less possessions then than now and he had to play within Sloan's rigid offence so he couldn't just hunt for stats like a lot of guys do now. He was a lot better than 90% of the PGs today putting up bullshyt numbers.

These are also the guys he was competing with for all-star slots out in the West and except for CP3 they were playing with better talent too.

I think Top 5 in your position is a fair cut off point for being considered elite and Deron was right up there for a good 6-7 years. His ankles and him being saddled with that geriatric "superteam" in Brooklyn was the death knell. He just couldn't sustain it.

Westbrook is a guy who puts up stupid numbers and has a ridiculous amount of accolades but his teams would have probably been a lot better off if his skillset and IQ were closer to :dwillhuh: than :youngsabo: that's just my 2 cents :hubie:.

These players need to keep it real and point out to Shaq that he wouldn't be shyt without the body he was born into so he should just shut the fukk up. I'm not calling him unskilled but if Shaq was born into D-Will's body with that skill set then he ain't even starting for his high school team. Almost everyone Shaq rips on is a better shooter, ballhandler, and passer than Shaq was and has a better work ethic without pulling so many dikk moves and kissing cop ass. Someone really needs to just lay that straight up to his face.
