If the league had no salary cap, SUPER max players would be making 100 million + per year and we really only 10 years away from that with the cap consistently rising.

You never heard guys like Moses Malone or Robert Parish or Artis Gilmore hating on Shaq when he was making more in a year than what they made their whole careers. Hell they never made half of what Shaq made on 1 contract in their entire careers combined but they helped pave the way for Shaq to get his contracts as the league grew and Shaq did it for Rudy and it’ll continue with the evolution and growth of the game.
