What are the ratings like pre & post Mike? Obviously excluding before Shannon signed on.

Sports talk ratings have been going up all year even with non Shannon and Mike appearances. The only ones that haven’t are Skips.
First Take ratings have been on the up and up for years. That wouldn’t chase even if they brought Skip in for guest appearances.

Seems like shannon may have fell for the playful shyt Molly says during the show. He just called her out for telling him that "they gonna get a work out together and we gonna do this" but she hasnt called him yet. What made it odd was he brought the shyt up outta nowhere.

I wonder how much they're paying Shannon? Also, I have a weird feeling Stephen A is gonna pull a swerve and sign a massive contract next year with FS1 and move to LA and work with Skip.

Shannon was better on Undisputed. Stephen A has rubbed off on him too much, he’s hard to listen to at times because he never feels like he’s wrong
SAS wants to be #1 more than anything. That's not happening on FS1.
Why would he attach himself to a sinking ship like Skip?

Yea, but imagine if they give him a 100 MILLION, and let him revamp the show, and hire hosts. There's ways they can make it attractive to him.
Remember, Stephen A always says he's an unapologetic capitalist. He will go where the most money is. Also, he wants to live in LA.

I really dont see that happening for a couple reasons.
1. SAS loves the spotlight and the bragging rights being on ESPN offers. If he took the job at fs1 it would be a major downgrade reach wise. I argue he loves the position and power ESPN/Disney gives him more than the money. He's gone on record saying he willingly took a paycut when they were going thru those job cuts.
2. The connection to Disney is what SAS covets, the power that offers. SAS feels he is on the tailend of his sport talking head career. He said he is grooming Shannon to take his spot on First Take. He desperately wants to be a host on one of the late night shows and transition away from first take, disney is his pipeline to that. He even said he worked it in his contract for him to host it once or twice. That's how he ended up filling in for Kimmel or w/e. This is on top of him trying to get a deal with McAfee by ESPN licensing his SAS show or w/e. This is why he is going hard on his youtube show and trying to push that.
3. Other than the 100M contract, he already has all the power on first take. He has said countless times that no one gets on First Take w/o his say so. Maybe they can try to offer some spots with fox proper to try and sweeten the deal, but doubt they do.

Unfortunately for him, the late night talk show circuit is dead these days and even then it's becoming more increasingly obvious that his schtick just doesn't work outside of sports and to the casual audience.

While I was typing that I was wondering why the hell he wanted the late night shyt so bad when it's on the decline. But maybe it's like a personal dream type shyt and he still sees it as a step up from FT.
Keeping it a buck, Shannon would probably be more wanted by Disney for those type of opportunities than SAS.
