Those men wouldnt entertain these types of conversations. It’s always the single and degenerate.

All of this and this is why Shannon won’t break out of the Shade Room for men style talk show focused on sports and entertainment. He started well with promoting his interview but when the other two chimed in with stupidity, he didn’t have enough sense to redirect the conversation back to the overall point. It’s not difficult to say, “She is very smart, but sometimes has a difficult time hearing and accepting other view points. And this may be one cause of some of the conflicts she’s had with others”. Everyone would get it, it wouldn’t be disrespectful to her as a guest, and everyone would move on.

But entertaining low brow podcast talking points will keep him in a box and catering to a ‘certain’ audience. We’ve seen the same thing happen with Charlamayne, who also tried and failed to cross over to mainstream media. And the worst part is that Charlamayne actually seems much more intelligent and aware that his lane was shock jock. Shannon Sharpe seems to just not be very bright and will need to readjust his approach if he doesn’t want to he done in 3 years.

I think the focus on him and his supposed intellectual shortcomings are misguided, trivial and if not outright irrelevant.

Amanda wasn't saying much and often doesn't say much that is very insightful, novel, or deep. And her verbal fluency isn't all that impressive given that it isn't coupled with logic, historical perspective, and facts. Instead her verbal dexterity is accompanied by shoddy heuristics, cognitive bias, and appeals to emotion.

Thus, no matter who was on the opposite side of her, more than likely she would have been operating in bad faith and incapable of reflection after the discussion.

She would’ve been operating in bad faith regardless of the interviewer.

The point is a different interviewer would’ve called her to the carpet during the interview, while Shannon is gossiping with some other man after the fact.
THAT is what gets the views and attention. The interviewer’s ability to steer the conversation, ask the tough questions and call someone out on their BS in the moment. It’s not about her coming to some grand realization because we all know that isn’t happening.

It’s about putting her on the spot when you catch her spewing over-intellectualized nonsense. The ladies on The View would’ve had Amanda looking like an idiot. That was point.


Funky Dineva is going to be interviewing her in the coming weeks and I want to see how he handles her, because he’s definitely opinionated and has the ability to handle difficult personalities without being flustered.

He’s not just “one man”, he’s a man that has risen to the zenith of capitalist society, and as a result is the world’s richest man. Is he seen as a “buffoon” as well because of his baby mamas?
