Plus Lip, like most people in the neighborhood knows Frank is always full of shyt and working an angle so they ignore him. But even a broke clock right twice a day. So Frank gets to look smart for brief period.

The thing about frank is. He is really smart. It's where lip gets his intelligence from.
Also This is one of the few rants that the outcome of what he rants about directly affect The people he rants too

I really really don't like them trying to make debby be sexy

It's an uncomfortable storyline that I tend to skip over. It's just not for me.

lip is easily the best character on the show. I kinda don't like how ian is all manic depressive these days. I'm also waiting for jimmy/steve to return. they are really BS'ing us about what happened with him.

both emmy rossum and shanola hampton are nice as hell

I dont think mandy looks that great tho.

mickey is also one of the best characters on the show next to lip.

yeah Lip has been my favorite since Day 1. You can relate to Lip the most, at least in my opinion. I never liked Ian so I could care less what his mood is lol.

The women are this show are pretty damn fine. Aside from Sammie n Mandy

Lip, Fiona, Frank, Carl, Vee, Mickey, Kevin, and Sheila are outstanding on this show. Seriously I don't know how show isn't praised with the top tier shows on TV. It's gritty and raw. And shows how most people's families aren't the All American kind. Most families are fukked up. Especially when you're poor. I think when this show ends (and I hope it's not for at least 3 more seasons) people are gonna realize this is a cult classic.

And Jimmy/Steve better not just be a cameo. If they are gonna bring him back it better be for the long haul. Hopefully he plays a big role in season 6 (since Showtime already gave this show an early renewal)

I agree. all the characters you named above make the show. I could do without debby. and if I was someone who writes for the show, putting a child in those situations is really creepy. I don't like that at all. The show did not need sammy. she is annoying. her son serves no purpose. also, I know they are trying to give ian an angle with the depression, but him being a in a masculine family was more than enough.

plus it got that gay agenda, surely it should get some recognition. but like the wire which focuses on poor/social conditions, giving these shows recognition just creates more awareness, we all know city's don't want that.
