Foreshadowing is still amazing on this show.
They foreshadowed all last season that Carl was gonna turn into Frank. I thought Bonnie was to Carl, as Monica was to Frank. In every way. The Drinking, The Stealing, and I think the girl he was attracted to from the Van was sort of what Monica was to Frank back in the day. Blonde, troubled, not looking for love, just a thrill. Carl and Frank are similar, morally and self destructively.
I think Fiona is seeing that her past does matter, and your rep follows you. Which is something she's never had to deal with. Fiona's been "wanted" the whole series, I think someone turning her down, for moral reasons rather than her not being pretty enough or something. That had to hurt, that she was being treated how Frank is treated by people.
And Yeah, I think at the end of the episode she realized that her boss was right. Chaos follows her, and it ruins people. And its going to ruin Debbie eventually
And :blacklaff: at that Priest getting a blowjob from a gay dude.

I really like Lip's storyline this season. Him n Mandy gonna get dirty tho
lip is easily the best character on the show. I kinda don't like how ian is all manic depressive these days. I'm also waiting for jimmy/steve to return. they are really BS'ing us about what happened with him.
both emmy rossum and shanola hampton are nice as hell
I dont think mandy looks that great tho.
mickey is also one of the best characters on the show next to lip.

Lip, Fiona, Frank, Carl, Vee, Mickey, Kevin, and Sheila are outstanding on this show. Seriously I don't know how show isn't praised with the top tier shows on TV. It's gritty and raw. And shows how most people's families aren't the All American kind. Most families are fukked up. Especially when you're poor. I think when this show ends (and I hope it's not for at least 3 more seasons) people are gonna realize this is a cult classic.
And Jimmy/Steve better not just be a cameo. If they are gonna bring him back it better be for the long haul. Hopefully he plays a big role in season 6 (since Showtime already gave this show an early renewal)

I said the same thing last year. Been watching this show since 2011. And everyone who I put on to it, loves it. Shows some of the honest dysfunction that takes place in households when you grow up with alcoholics and drug addicts for parents. Even though I love all of the characters, all of them were clearly effected in some way by what took place in their upbringing.
The show offers comedy, drama, and a lot of heartwrenching moments that really hit home if you're someone who grew up in a household like that. Great show. And I hope we get at least 3 more seasons too.

I have a feeling now that Liam is older and talking he might have a few comedic gems this seasons.

i started watching this some of this show after boxing last weekend because it came on after it..the above scene made me turn that shyt off...is that the norm for this show?

I stopped watching after season 3.
Plus Lip, like most people in the neighborhood knows Frank is always full of shyt and working an angle so they ignore him. But even a broke clock right twice a day. So Frank gets to look smart for brief period.
