I don't have a link but I frequent the Shameless board on IMDB and there's this user who always posts spoilers that almost always come true and they are saying that the writers are only bringing Jimmy back in order to give Fiona and his character closure. 
Hopefully it's not true but it makes sense with Fiona's story arc this season.

Finally watched it and holy fukk what an episode
V is such a bytch and I'm rooting for Kev all the way. V gets no sympathy. Make your man cheat on you and then give him a bullshyt ultimatum
Mickey gives me a headache. One minute I fukks with him and the next I hate him. But I feel for him having to deal with Ian's ass. Hopefully he can make amends
Frank once again steals the episode. Manipulating the fukk outta those parents
Debbie is getting more interesting but is still batshyt crazy. Wanting to take steroids just so she can try and impress a guy? Only to fukk him? To prove that she's a woman?
