I remember 2pac in that Ed Gordon interview talked about how early on after he had a few movies and albums under his belt, he had some money, but not enough to live in a mansion or gated community, but he made too much to live in the black areas because they might try to rob him (because people are starving)…so he had to move to a white neighborhood which he described as hell for him.

I’m not. Someone said his pops was in prison anyway. I was responding to his mom not wanting to live around black people. I’m not gonna expect a white woman to move to the hood just because her son is half black when many black people are looking to leave the second they get some money.
