I can imagine what it was like in here during Romo years
It was the opposite.

We had rosters with gaping weaknesses. And a horrendous HC. But the QB was a magician who kept plays alive, lead wild comebacks, and made WR4s look like WR1s. Yeah yeah, he threw picks and lost some games.

Now we have talent around the field. Both sides of the ball. But our QB is a timid braindead loser who throws 7 INTs in the first half of a Madden game if you just run zone defense every play. He gets WR1s cut or traded for 5th round picks.

I always felt like we had a shot in any game with Romo. Because he could do something wild in the 2nd half and finish with 500 yards and 5 TDs.

Nothing but trepidation and expected disappointment with this checkdown shorty at the helm. That spring break beatdown must have gotten some glass lodged in the gyrus of the brain that deciphers Cover 3.

I'm glad we didn't break the bank paying Gallup. He drops a lot of easy passes. And then does some spectacular catches. But is inconsistent. He should've held on to that TD

Romo played with a HOF receiver TO.
HOF tight end Jason Witten
Borderline HOF Dez Bryant
All time great LT Tyron Smith
All time great RG Zach Martin
Would have been all time great center Travis Fredeirck. Instead all he did was make 5 all pro selections. Three when Romo was the QB.

But we had "gaping weaknesses" :mjlol:

1800 yard running back but the OC was "horrendous".

Pro bowl receiver and tight end but the OC was "horrendous".

We were 13 - 3 with a 4th round rookie qb and rookie running back but the OC was "horrendous."

Damn yall some lying ass nikkas man:mjlol:

Don't you guys get tired of telling these lies man:mjlol:

Do you realize the rest of us have TV's and watched cowboys games before:mjlol:

"Romo was a magician who kept plays alive behind 3 all pro linemen while throwing it to a all pro receiver and all pro tight end, when he wasn't handing it off to an all pro running back who ran for 1800 yards on 4.7 yards a carry."

Disgusting. Straight up fukking disgusting :mjlol:.

Our long snapper was making pro bowls when Romo was here :mjlol:.

Romo played on A FEW bad teams but you guys always out here making it seam like he was playing on the little giants or something:mjlol:.

As much as Romo fukked up I bet the other team felt like they had a shot to win every game to in the second half :mjlol:. I know Green Bay did when he blew that 24 point lead against them somehow throwing an interception barely 5 yards pass the line of scrimmage and then trying to make some late game magic happen and throwing the game ending pick to Miles Austin while we still had the lead.

You need to be punished for lies like this. It's how I know god and the bible and the old testament aint real. If it was your house would would have burned to ashes right when you hit send on this lying ass post:mjlol:.

Where the ignore button at. I'm not tolerating this. I need to be making some positive changes in 2023. I'm going to start with this thread.

People prop up Romo to shyt on Dak.

On top of that, folks talk down the Cowboys rosters like Romo was playing on some bum azz 1-15 squads that he elevated to 9 wins.

Romo didn't really put it all together until 2012/2013 or so and played his best in 2014. Basically around Year 10/11/12. Dak is in Year 7. No idea how Dakota is gonna pan out long term but we can't be hyping Romo. Aikman was elite when you watched his throws. Romo had good ball placement but made a lot of bad decisions.

Dak is inconsistent as fukk....but so is the team.

Losing two starting corners, Hankins, and Steele (who has been phenomenal in the run game) has me mentally preparing for this to be a one and done playoff run. Deer in the headlights is going to have to become a man b/c the run game and defense is not going to be all-world moving forward after these injuries.

Also, Tampa will get some injured players back over the next month. I fully expect them to flip a switch on us like Super Bowl champs do regularly.

I said horrendous HC. Not OC. Or are you really about to start stanning Jason Garrett in order to defend your hero Dak…

We drafted Frederick in 2013. And Martin in 2014. Romo died in 2016. I wasn’t aware Tony Romo only had a 3 year career. Good looks breh.

Who were Miles Austin and Laurent Robinson before Romo got them numbers and got them paid?

Who were Amari Cooper and Dez Bryant before Dak got them discarded?

When Romo had TO, they had the most TD connections in the league over a 3 year span. When Romo had Dez, they had the second most TD connections over a 4 year span outside of Brady and Gronk. Meanwhile we have WR1s routinely on milk cartons with Dak leading the charge. Dez. Amari. CeeDee. Let’s trade for Justin Jefferson so he can start putting up 3 recs for 34 yard games.

The best season Dak ever had was when Romo got hurt and we gave the keys to Dak and told him just to drive the bus. Zeke was fresh and fast out of college. We rode him the entire year. The next year, the very moment Zeke got suspended, and we began shifting the offense to a more Dak-throwing-the-ball oriented gameplan… well, you’ve seen what checkdown shorty has been doing.

Has Dak ever thrown for 500 yards? Romo did it twice. And lost. Because that’s how bad our defense and coaching was. There was a game in 2013 vs the Saints where NO had like 40 first downs or something insane. Meanwhile our defense held KC to 19 last year. In KC. Dak has lost to Teddy Bridgewater x2 and Jets Darnold.

Dak out here needing GWing drives against a 1 win team in Week 14. Maybe we should spend another 1st round pick on an OL or WR so we can get Dak some more help.

Dak had us entering the 4th Q of a playoff game vs the 49ers with only 7 points. With Zeke, Pollard, Cooper, Lamb, Wilson, Schultz at his disposal.

Dak had us down 21-3 against the Packers in the 2nd Q of playoff game in 2016.

You’re mad Romo threw away games in the second half. Dak has us changing the channel before the end of the first half because the shyt is already over.

Majority our fanbase already knew we were one and done before it was even December.

Ignore me? Do it. While you’re at it, ignore Dak against out of division opponents. Ignore Dak against above .500 teams. Oh wait, you’ve been doing it for 7 years already.

dak has played on a team that is good enough to go 9-4 without him in the last 13 games he missed. Let that sink in. Romo went out in 2015 week 2 and the team proceeded to lose 7 games in a row. That was with “HOF Jason Witten”. That was with “All-time great Zack Martin”. That was with “All Time great Tyron Smith”. 0-7 with him out the lineup… Dak is literally Jimmy G status around here. The same way the 49ers have a team strong enough to keep it pushing with Mr. Irrelevant, thats the same thing we have with Cooper Rush.

Dak went a stretch of 4 years into his career without overcoming a 3 point deficit at halftime.

Dak went a 16 game stretch, putting up numbers that were inferior to Sam Darnold

Dak at 1 point went on a 9 game stretch, putting up numbers that were inferior to Blake Bortles

I can go on and on about this bumass nikka that has literally did nothing worth stanning

2014 Romo on this team we are easily the SB favorites
