From what I read about the game, the penalties were the biggest issue which says a lot.
I can understand if it’s a talent issue and they lose because the opponent is more talented. But penalties are just dumb. Not excuse. They led the league in penalties last year and had 14 in the playoffs. To start out the new year with 17 is disappointing.
It shows a lack of discipline and focus.
