the trailers for this movie look absolutely terrible. it doesnt make you want to go see this movie at all.
saw the good rip popped up and put it on expecting to turn it off after a half hour in disgust and watched this all the way through. i liked this movie a lot. its not the same as the 2000 Shaft, but i enjoyed it. def a fun and funny flick.

Shaft 2000 blows it out of the water. There were some bad bytches in the movie

The only real knock I have on this was the villains were lame and forgettable. I really enjoyed all of the main character interactions though, everyone had a good chemistry and the comedy was funny without feeling forced. I fukk with it

Watched this on Netflix last night and was better than I expected.

I did as well, it was nice little popcorn flick. Which I appreciate from time to time everything doesn't have to be a blockbuster event. I was watching Sam's interview on the Breakfast Club and homie said he just likes to act he doesn't have to always be in blockbusters.
netflix has the int'l distro rights, and they dropped it around the same time we got it in theaters
