They’re bullshyt rules but she also knew what she signed up for
She knew weed was banned, knew what the consequences were if she got caught and did it anyway. It’s not fair that that weed is causing her to lose her spot, and I was real excited to see her run against the Jamaicans but again, she knew what could happen. This was avoidable.
Only positive that could come out of this is that her being as popular as she is causes people who otherwise wouldn’t have given a shyt to apply more pressure so that this isn’t a thing in the future
Why would the rest of the world care when the US are the only ones making a big ruckus about it? Americans are being selfish as fukk about the situation without even realizing it. The fact that the Biden Administration essentially threw their hands up about the situation should tell you all you need to know about what your stance should be.
