It gets way worse. There's video from a party about 10 years ago where the future king held a giant party for his fukking dog, who was an official staff member in the government, and forced his wife (literally a Thai princess) to crawl around in a G-string, bark like a dog, and eat cake out of a dog bowl on the ground. Now she's supposedly under "house arrest" but hasn't been seen in 6 years.

5 things to know about the Thai King’s disgraced ex-princess and third wife, Srirasmi Suwadee

1. She appeared in a leaked controversial video that displayed the decadence of the royal family

In the 2007 video, she and the then-prince celebrate the birthday of their dog Fufu, who purportedly held the rank of Air Chief Marshal. In the video, Srirasmi is seen in a G-string, at one point eating cake from a dog bowl on the floor. During this time, Thailand was reeling under a savage military coup.

2. She was stripped of her royal title in 2014 following accusations of her family’s corruption

In 2014, her uncle, parents, sister and three brothers were convicted of several crimes. They included lèse-majesté, or defaming the monarchy, which is a terrible crime in Thailand. Negative comments about the royal family can be punishable by up to 15 years in prison. Her parents pleaded guilty to these charges. In 2015, the elderly couple was sentenced to two and a half years in prison. Srirasmi’s uncle was accused of smuggling and extortion in addition to lèse-majesté, and was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison. Her three brothers were sentenced to five and a half years each.

3. She was forced to leave her son behind

Her son, Prince Dipangkorn Rasmijoti, is next in line to the throne after the king. There are photos online of her last meeting with him before she was forced to leave the royal house.

4. She is now living under house arrest – supposedly

The ex-princess has not definitively been seen in public since 2014. There is a Facebook article demanding proof she is alive and well, as despite efforts to locate her, she appears to have fallen off the face of the earth.

5. She is part of a pattern that the Thai king has repeated many times over

Maha Vajiralongkorn has been divorced several times. He divorced his first wife, who is also his cousin, in 1991, but she retained her title as part of the Thai royal family. His second wife was not so lucky. He married her in 1994 and divorced her two years later, and she was forced to flee to America with her sons. Most recently, Vajiralongkorn’s royal consort has been stripped of her title after only three months with the king and has now disappeared. It remains to be seen what will happen next.

His father is rolling in his grave right now off his dumb shyt.
He's more culpable than anyone - he let this shyt go on for decades while he was alive. All he had to do was say the word and his popular daughter could have been the next queen instead of his sociopath of a son. But he decided to roll with the son even though everyone in Thailand has known he's evil since forever. The father was also a prime backer of the military coups that ravaged Thailand and overturned democratically elected governments repeatedly. He's always been on the side of the rich over the people.

While some of this is true, Thai people from poor to middle class ( old and young) always said The King was for the people and gave many examples.
