Unfortunately this is a pretty common take in the hood
All it took was $1200 or whatever it was. On one hand it shows just how little effect policy has on a lot of americans day to day life that a couple dollars really makes this much impact and overrides all the other shyt, on the other hand it shows how unsophisticated the average american is politically
Luckily these hood types barely vote

So blame Republicans for the state of our community even though we vote for Democrats at damn near 90%.
No, blame cooperate politicians (Dems and Repubs) for decades of of letting things slip. Also, blame Citizens United for making it harder than ever to reverse the damage. Blame gerrymandering for keeping people in national office who won't back initiatives that would support reforms on the local level. I can go on and on, but nuance is a tiring thing.

The real issue is we basically work for the Democratic Party instead of them working for us.

And what does it say that these suburban black folks with white friends apparently have a greater commitment to black civil rights and policy than their "real hood" counterparts?
:mjlol:It sounds good, but the reality is, Trump is the only President in US history to actually do anything specifically for the benefit of black folk. Actions speak louder than words.
