Several rappers have come out speaking about how they were raped as minor by women. Why doesn't society care?

One thing this thread makes me realize...is that in a lot of ways as black men we are all we got

The sympathy is out there not everywhere but nonetheless. If you speak out there are people who will understand and feel your pain. If somebody shares some shyt they went through with us, its important to take the shyt serious and not scoff or downplay it.

Chris brown ain't a rapper but he was rated by a woman at 8 years old as well

It's actually craz y how often it happens. You shouldn't believe stats about sexual abuse because male victims of female abuse are WAY underrreported. It was not even recognized as an issue until very recently

Why?

Men themselves didn't see it as an issue, they think it makes you manly - (thankfully this is changing though)

Society praises and encoursges men that are able to get sex

i think many men might see it as an issue, but when all isses we go through in life are met with responses like "man up", "stop complaining", etc. you learn to just charge everything you go through to the game. you learn from it and adapt

How many years has it been? And you havent once offered to pull up for this crusade of yours. Nor have you called the cops to report my post? Let the peanut gallery note his unseriousness in every way:respect:

I said by law.

I knew what sex was as a minor and wanted to have it. And very well couldve wanted to have it with certain older women.

In that instance you cant put me in the same category as a minor who was raped or coerced by authority or manipulation. We are not the same in terms of victimhood. The law has to consider me a victim because the adult needs to be held accountable. But i wanted to smash that older woman through the boxspring at 15(hypotehetical).

this reasoning is precisely why men don't take other men seriously when the topic arises.

These narratives about how men (and boys) get women is what's causing the apathy you see today about women raping men.

It's gonna take awhile for society to truly take it seriously.

This is just a narrative. Are you saying if a man came to other men distraught or emotional about being raped, that other men wouldnt have empathy or take him seriously:comeon:

But yall want to where if a grown man comes out telling about an experience many years ago "Yeah,i had sex with my 25 year old baby sitter as a teen:youngsabo:"

Yall want us to be like "Omg bro,you were raped, and thats not okay:picard:"

Clearly he may not see himself as a victim just because you want him to be traumatized. Those that do feel like victims should have an outlet. And in 2025 im pretty sure they do as these videos and comments show.

Remember watching IIWIS a few months ago and Cam'Ron mentioned how he was molested at an early age while talking about Draya  and Jalen Green .

Stat Baby was mortified and sad for Cam despite him and Mase trying to laugh it off . :francis:

But yeah, this happens more often than you think. Thankfully I wasn't but many friends, classmates and family I grew up with did .

Heart goes out to y'all.

1. I’m not traveling to some random internet posters house to run a fade over him raping women in the past. I only use violence to protect me and my family when necessary.

2. Reporting an internet post to the police is pointless. Unless it’s a federal offense the probable cause needed to pull up up info and subpoena your isp isn’t there.

3. I just respond with your rape admission to make sure you can’t post without people being reminded of it.

:yeshrug:

4. It’s starting to get to you huh?… good.

Double standards and the fact is most men only think about hot women doing it, they don't think the more likely outcome of an ugly woman doing it.

neither is ok, but everytime we see the teacher stories it's usually a teacher that we wouldn't have turned down as a teen, not Doris the lunch lady with the huge mole on her face.
