Howard asked him about it at the end and he said he would rather speak honestly about it than just say no comment every time he out in public, just get it out the way pretty much.
That book he's promoting sounds good
Its about all his interactions over the years with Hollywood elites like Cruise, Spielberg, Nic Cage, etc
He said he went to a meeting to discuss Ready Player One with Spielberg and George Lucas came along and started bragging that he had a space ship built for when the world ended in 2012 and he was serious
Seth asked if he could have a seat on the ship and George told him NO
Another one was Nic Cage wanted to be in Green Hornet and wanted to play a white Jamaican villain
Seth went to his house and Nic was in full character as a white Jamaican during the meeting

Like I said, Chappelle and many other comedians have a ton of "problematic" stuff out there. Any shyt can be labeled "problematic" these days. Dave going about it a real nikka way in my eyes cuz he know all that "held accountable" shyt don't mean a damn thing, people just gonna find your next flaw to prod at. Seth going on apology tours for jokes and movies he put out that he only suddenly feels bad about because a small portion of people on social media have a problem with it.
Like I said as far as the Franco stuff, I don't know enough to judge. My assumption is Seth knew just as much then as he knows now but is only disassociating himself with Franco now because the stove getting too hot. If he knows just how filthy Franco got down, I have no problem with him disassociating himself. If Franco is denying it profusely to Seth and his friends, then Seth's in a tricky spot because you suppose to be down for your friends and believe them but he's also got to juggle keeping the public happy which is a position he put himself in. Either way, I can never judge what a friend/family member does to a fellow friend/family member who has accusations thrown on him that they deny, because I know I'll be damned if strangers tell me how I need to move with my company if they are suddenly on the hot seat.
