Why did religious people allow kids to be molested and raped?
Why did religious people protect and relocate sexually abusive priests?
Why did religious people put black people in chains and ship them to become slaves?
Why did religious people chop off the hands of west indians who didn't find enough gold for them?
Why did religious people rape women and children all over the new world?
Why did religious people (I'm looking at you, Mother Theresa) collect millions of dollars in donations to help the sick and suffering...and then refused to spend that money on healing the sick and suffering?
Why did religious people provide safe passage out of Europe for the Nazis?

They tried justifying it by using religion too. To be honest though that has less to do with religion and more to do with white people being white people.
Can't attribute religion to their actions because they will try to absolve themselves and blame religion for their actions.
