That's not what faith is. Faith isn't denying science, its saying that God created science/design. And that's one of the biggest problems with atheists, they feel that every religious person is simple and unknowlegeable. If you were knowledgeable yourself, you'd know that your post isn't what people of faith believe at all, just talking out of your ass

Also, they don't tend to respect people. If you deny God, that's your prerogative, but don't act as if you're superior or smarter than people who don't. The only people who truly know what happens when we die are dead anyway. I don't have to agree with your philosophy of life (or lack thereof) to deserve to have mine respected. Because, like another poster said, they're mostly socially-inept internet geeks, they don't understand that concept

Atheism attracts a certain type of people. Every opinion of ANY kind does.

I think its easier for people who already " think differently" from the majority of society to accept atheism. Could be because they have less societal obligation/motivation to accept the popular train of thought about religion or naturally have a contrarian/logical opinion. And sadly a lot of people who publicly dont adhere to "normal" behaviors and opinions arent too popular (i.e nerds).

Its also why I think alot of LGBT are extremely talented in the arts and design; because their thought patterns are considered "alternative" they see the world through a different lens and this worldview enables more inspired creative elements. That and growing up in a society that represses LGBT behaviors meant that they had to find ways to express themselves or go crazy....

It's because they're constantly surrounded by and bombarded with the idea of your beliefs almost every second of every day.
