Serious Question: What exactly does Lebron do BETTER right now than Penny Hardaway did offensively?

What was current Lebrons average stats in the EC finals?

The counting stats were pretty special, but his scoring efficiency was weak. And for the entire postseason he's shooting worse than he ever has in a PS run. He's pretty clearly not playing at his usual dominant level. I'm not criticizing him or anything but suggesting that with his dip in performance this season he's become more approachable in player rankings

I can't believe you actually not only read OPs post but took the time to respond to it

Penny Hardaway is my favorite player in NBA history

:francis:

FG %: James: 50, Hardaway: 46
Playoff FG %: James: 48, Hardaway: 45

3-Point %: James: 34, Hardaway: 32

Assists: James: 6.9, Hardaway: 5

PPG: James: 27.3, highest 30 Hardaway: 15, highest 21

If Penny Hardaway scored 27 points, you'd buy him a beer. If Lebron scored 27 points, you'd think he had some bad fish for lunch.

Seriously, what the fukk are you talking about

Lebron is carrying this team like a muthafukka. You coming off like a nerd ass type sports fan. On some "well he played well but his efficiency in the 3rd quarter of round 2 games is not up to par" type shyt. Nobody gives a fukk, he is one of the best to ever do it and is leading this team to a hell of a playoff run as he has done in the past.

Penny's best season is around the same range as lebron's rookie year or a down season:lolbron:

Bron is more versatile, but I think Penny was more skilled.

Footwork, post game.....overall, his game was more technical/smooth/neat.

Penny had more charisma. Not Penny the person, but the way he moved and carried himself out there on the court. In terms of physcial charisma/appeal...I think Penny is top 5 all time.

He was thee nikka you wanted to look like out there on the court nh

I think that's why he's still such an "urban legend" even now.

Hell...even Bron wanted to play like him....Penny was his favorite player growing up.

Bron's a better player, but if their games were on at the same time, I'd probably watch Penny's:yeshrug:

Well you seem upset. LeBron is compensating for poor shooting with tremendous defense and rebounding (Cavs have murdered teams on the glass this PS, big adv for them,). Yes LeBron is one of the best to ever do it, in my opinion top 6 all time. Yes he is leading the Cavs to a very impressive run. But I maintain that he isn't shooting well from the field which is startling because LeBron is the efficiency king. The bulk of his game is being able to put the ball in the rim, no matter how you play him or who surrounds him, at a great rate. Haven't seen that his PS on a consistent basis however and its worth pointing out given his pattern of play. He is shooting 26% on jumpshots with defenders 4 or more feet away from which is shocking. Looking forward to seeing if he can turn that around against the Warriors.

Seriously though, after looking at the stats. Lebron's y'know 27 and 7 :gladbron:. But Kobe's averaged 28 when with Shaq, he's hit 30, 34, 35 a few times. It's insane. :dwillhuh:

Magic's around 20 points, but 15 assists :leon:. Larry Bird 24 points, 7 assists :ld:

Bill Russell 20 points, 24 rebounds Wilt started 40 points, 20 rebounds, finally settled to 15 ppg territory :sas2:

Then you hit Michael Jordan's stats. :merchant:

He had Hardaway's 5 assists pretty much. But he averaged over 30 points a game for 7 years in a row :whoo:
Four other years, he was within a point and a half of thirty, one time he averaged fukking 37 points a game.

You don't even have to watch him play, you just read his PPG stat line and are like "Give him the GOAT."

I would've been honored to watch that guy play, because honestly I don't even understand. Steph Curry hits 3 pointers from behind 8 dudes, and he only averages 21. What the hell was Michael Jordan doing

:mjcry:

His second and 3rd options are down, of course his efficiency is down. Why do you guys not see how that correlates :dahell:
