Should also be noted that Ohanian is a partner in investment firm, but the managing partner is Garry Tan. There are at least 4 other partners in the firm but Garry Tan controls the company's money as chief partner.
Ohanian isn't getting a huge payout from Initialized Capital's angel money; rather Tan used Ohanian's paltry money (along with like 4 other people) to start investing. He will do what other investors do and only pay meager sums to partner while putting the bulk of the money into companies. This is the smart thing to do but the truth is that Initialized Capital doesn't appear to have made any good investments besides Soylent.
And Soylent is a garbage product nobody normal will ever use. So Ohanian's actual "job" at Initialized Capital at best pays him a close to a mill to a couple million a year.
