This is all too true, but I wonder why. Is it as simple as it being so much easier to sell free shyt than it is to sell self reliance, so they just dont say anything? Are republicans just devoid of any ideas at all? I honestly don't know here...

I highly doubt the republicans do poorly in the midterms. They set up the districting to make that impossible. No matter what any of us say, the student loan program would have been the most profitable corporation in America last year. That aint right.

We as a country need to drastically change incentives from a legislative perspective.

You guys know why student loans dont go away with bankruptcy right? Because there is no way an 18 year old kid would be handed 30k otherwise. This shyt isnt fight club, no one is gonna reset everything out here. The national debt is gonna be 20 trillion by the time we elect our next president. The thing that Ds dont understand is the republicans cant lose! They are either rich already or just happy to believe that they are getting over on blacks/cutting black entitlements, the latter being the only reason the GOP has done anything for itself since 1960.
