Eddie died during the prime of career when he was finally coming into his own as a legit main eventer.

A lot of Midcard dudes like edge, mark Henry, Bradshaw, etc got to be a world champ when the rock & Austin left so it's a bit understandable why you're confused.

Thats another thing. After the attitude era I wasn’t heavily invested in wrestling so I always thought of Eddie as a midcarder

I would never compare him to fukking Master or Jarrett :dead: But his death has definitely elevated him to extremely overrated status. He has only one certified classic(Halloween Havoc 97) He was over and did connect but his in ring work wasn’t any different from his luchadore peers

I always liked Chris Masters he was a beast on the old Smackdown games :lolbron:

I wasn’t trying to diss Eddi or compare their in ring skills, I’m just saying I always thought he was like a bottom tier superstar and didn’t think or knew he was a main eventer.

I just remember him from his WCW days I stopped watching after the ruthless agression era

man. im just not seeing it.
When I think of Eddie Guerrero I think of folks like Chris Masters, Jeff Jarrett, Matt Hardy, Mr.Kennedy, Mark Henry, D-Lo Brown..:yeshrug:
Folks who are good but wasnt worthy of a heavyweight title.

Maybe cause I remember him as a cruiser weight on WCW or I stopped watching when his run began. Bruh overrated to me. He'll never be in the Rock, Stone Cold, HHH, Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Sting, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle league that folks try to put him in.

fukk all yall negging me :pacspit:
id frogsplash all you bytches.

oh yea RVD had a better frogsplash too :pacspit:
RVD did not. He sold his own shyt and hopped around.

Lol..much better on tyhe ring than Bret Hart st his best....made Shawn Michaels look average...he carried Brock better than anyone ever did....made Angle look like boring in comparison.

How the is this a bad thing? He got so much height and airtime with it that him selling pain from his own finisher made it look even more legit
It kind of silly to oversell it..it's good he jumped super high to make the impact seem more legitimate.

Annnnnnnd yet they still have more memorable matches. Love how you have to compare him to others instead of mentioning more matches by him which basically proves my point

Breh... the Ringmaster and Rocky Maivia were wack midcarders but they honed their characters and became undeniable

Eddie Guerrero was always talented and he just leveled up his persona, there's nothing to get.

More memorable? The Eddie title win up there with anything in the last 25 years. The biggest Shawn/Bret match was based on scandal and pettiness. Angle? Get fukking real.

Don’t know what you are babbling about ( as usual) let’s break it down

Hart
Summer slam 91 vs Mr Perfect
Summer slam 92 vs Bulldog
Both 94 matches against Hart
The 95 Surv Series Diesel match
The iron man match
Both matches against Austin
The two matches in 99 against Benoit

Michaels
Ladder match at 10
Ladder match at SS 95
Iron man match
Match against Diesel next month
The mind games match against Mankind
HIAC 1
The street fight with HHH
The WM match against Angle
The 60 min raw match against Cena
The WM 24 match against Flair
Both mania matches against Taker

Eddie
vs Dean back in ECW
HH 97
That elimination tag match with Chavo vs edge/Rey and Benoit/Angle

After that he was bloated and roided out
That’s it

Are you really asking if a guy who finished a fight after having a heart attack mid-match is an all time wrestling legend?

Not to mention the family history...
