Sell bullets at police stations should solve 80% of the problem

Like Sniffles said, what's keeping some relatively law-abiding citizen from purchasing the bullets, and selling them at a profit on the black market?

Good idea. In addition to this, I think they need to ban these high powered weapons that can shoot 60 rounds at the blink of an eye. It's ridiculous that just about anyone can purchase these with no issues. Why would anyone need something that powerful anyway?

You can't buy an automatic assault rifle without a Federal Firearms License. It's not that easy.

Its economics ya'll. If you decrease the legal supply then the price of illegal bullets would have to be higher. You would have to know somebody and be willing to pay more. That would automatically weed out a large number of shooters and decrease the amount of shootings...which is the point.
