How did you handle this clown ?

I just said fukk it and when he threw his little paralyzing bomb I took the hit for a chance to slash

Don't use thrust attacks unless he's clearly vulnerable. He has a mikiri counter that will fukk you up BIG time. Similar if Sekiro is lying on the ground he has a stomp into a stab that does major damage.

Opportunities for damage:

When he throws 2 shurikens then jumps in the air towards you for a downward strike. Dodge the strike and then punish.

When he throws the anti heal bomb like you mentioned, punish him then dodge/jump to the side out the range of the smoke so you don't get debuffed. You want to be able to do this consistently and not get debuffed, so that he will keep going for this option.

Sometimes when he runs and approaches I use firecrackers to stop him then go in for hits, or as breathing space for a heal.

Other than that, if you're close up a lot of his moves can be interrupted during the startup. Just gotta make sure you know or get a feel for all his combos and deflect them all because he does a ridiculous amount of posture damage to you. That's why I had to make sure I got those skills.

Oh ok, yeah i had already beatn him , i just took on the negative efffect of his bombs for a chance to slice, the ninja star jumping move ...i should have dodged and sliced him up, i was parrying that move...

This game is insane. It would be better if they had a better check point system. Once you die, you gotta start from a far distance at times. granted the enemies may be weak but make sure they dont attack you because eventually, you gonna fight a boss type of dude.

I give this game a 9 out of 10. I think it is one of the best games for 2019 thus far.

i haven't played dark souls but i think there are 3 already in the series. so i don't want to play all of them.

finally, why can't they release god of war to the pc? it is a damn shame!

Dark Souls is nothing like this imo (a lot slower pace/combat). If you're jonzing for similar I'd rec Bloodborne & Nioh

Man you don't wanna play Dark Souls/Bloodborne then. Sekiro's checkpoints are actually quite forgiving compared to those games.

I think the checkpoint system for this game is getting better for me because this game does require you to travel and explore. For example, the SNAKE boss looks real hard when you first encounter it, but you need to travel with it. Do not fight the snake once you see it. You need to travel with the snake.

I will play Dark Souls / Bloodborne mainly because I do not have the time to play those games, and because Sekiro is real lit right now..
