See. Right now everybody is focused on getting that quick "fast food" money in the entertainment business. It's about "first week" this, "number 1" this. People wanna appeal to consumers immediate and fleeting senses hoping they'll throw an easy buck at it before it goes away.

Just make a quality product. Give folks something that people are gonna wanna buy in 20 years and you just might be alright and have a legacy to boot.

they deserved every penny too. its amazing the kinda writing they did in the 90s on a network tv, no one will touch comedy being done that way, with a mass audience and give a goat real new yorker tribute like that ever. they basically brought jewish stream of consciousness ny standup comedy into sitcom form
