Crazy how much better Assault on Arkham was as a Suicide Squad movie.

Yeah that animated movie was amazing. It was action packed, funny as fukk, had a great cast of characters, the right amount of Batman, featured a shyt ton of villain cameos and tied the Joker/Harley story perfectly into the main one; not to mention was great at being a bit darker and adult.

And all this was in a 80 minute animated movie, imagine the things they could have done in a 120 minute movie.

The potential is mouth-watering :Homersweet:

But no what we got sucked shyt covered ass :Cenameh:

Guardians made the soundtrack basically a character in the movie.

Suicide Squad was like the editor asked his 13 year old son what his favorite songs are right now and just shoehorned them into the movie.

Which is always always always going to be a problem. Either trust your filmmaker or don't but don't hire a trailer company to do your edits and combine two visions into one

Leto with one of the WOAT performances, thank god he had a lot less screentime than was implied......Heath Ledger rolling in his grave & Jack Nicholson sitting there like .
--a few other dud characters besides him were the Enchantress & her boyfriend/military dude & Viola Davis
--El Diablo was dope, then Croc & Boomerrang
--thought Will Smith wasn't AS bad as everyone says, but they definitely shoudve gotten a different actor for Deadshot
--Margot Robbie is so no complaints there

I don't fukk with comics so don't know how it held up in to those in terms of story/characters.......but for me, it was mindless entertainment which is exactly what I expected. The plot wasn't what I was expecting at all either......after they introduced all the main characters & got them together (Harley Quinn @ the military base ) the story just became a bunch of mashed up nonsense. Still entertaining tho

This came on last night and man was this worse than I remember. The songs were awful and if they reminded me they were the bad guys one more time I was gonna punch someone. The characters were boring and the plot made no sense. The editing was so amateurish and the tone of the movie was all over the place. Worse DCEU movie ever just an utter mess.
