Yeah...i get that...


But....

That ending literally killed the whole movie for me. And on top of that the main character was damn near unlikeable because she couldn’t control her damn emotions. If she would have just been patient, the 2nd plan would have worked.

Hell...if she wouldn’t have fukked with her ex-boyfriend in the beginning he wouldn’t have delayed her from getting to her brother the first time they jumped.

And also if she kept going back and changing the past, the space time continuum would be getting even more fukked up...since they were following the “Back To The Future” logic of time travel.

Again...I UNDERSTAND that ending...but it literally killed the movie for me.

The Michael J. Fox cameo was a nice touch tho

I dont wanna see anybody talking about she was a strong character and had the burden of a black woman trying to survive and save the black man in this atmosphere of unrighteous deaths and police brutality
She was weak and escalated every situation that she was put in and was the reason for dudes dying

Ya'll can't tell me a film starring young black talent can't exist without police brutality of some sort. I refuse to accept that.

For as smart as this girl was supposed to be, she was as dumb as fukk. Too much time travel inconsistencies and the movie tried to address them but it fell flat. She's the catalyst for damn near everything going wrong and it just....ends?

word...when it goes to black I was like , checked the time and there was like 10 mins left...they staying with 10 mins of credits when they could've put in a real resolution

I fast forwarded to see if there was a post credit scene or something...nothing.

She’s a kid. A genius, but still a kid.

Besides, she threw the slushie at her ex way before shyt hit the fan. That happened on June 28th. Her brother wasn’t killed until July 4th.

when the cops rolled up on them and his little sister was trying to talk to the police this nikka was barkin all on her making shyt worse.

Worst part. Made me wanna turn it off. All that evidence she showed him and he still was acting like that. So unrealistic

It honestly KILLS the entire movie for me because there's 0 resolution to anything with new problems being added in the final scene

I thought the movie was dope, and I watched it twice.
A few takeaways:
1. I loved the cinematography and the accurate depuction of Brooklyn's West Indian/Jamaican/PR/ADOS culture.
2. It was good to see Stro acting again. Now maybe he'll drop another mixtape.
3. CJ's last name is Walker!
4. The soundtrack is flames!
5. I loved the nods to other Sci-Fi books and films.
6. I loved how important family was to the characters.
7. The ending was better on my second viewing.

This could end up in the collection if it ever gets released on blu-ray.
