People tired of the Neoliberal "play it safe" strategy and want someone bold, even if that boldness does more harm than the play it safe guys

Who are these "people"? Because i think black people and probably most Americans dont want that at all.

The both side folk in the black community are the ones who don't like Obama and thats a small percentage of smart dumb nikkas. They have no idea of any of Obama's policies, just that he didn't pass reparations, so they hate him.

I think its a mixed bag. Im a bothsider and Obama is hands down the goat:wow:. I would never have more smoke for the first black president who had to deal with the threat of assasination, and constant sabatogue from white supremacist. Who knew they could be bold because of how much hatred/fear many whites had seeing Obama in his position. He should be the last modern day Democrat to be ridiculed. Just based on degree of difficulty alone. But #BothSides can put that aside for the mission:respect:

Dont see how you can blame black people who do have an issue with an Obama. Right or wrong,he was an incredible salesman and gassed black people up more than anyone in history. In his defense,i do think he was truly as naive as alot of us were to believe the hype.

Former presidents don’t hold much weight unless they are artificially held up as a God to the party such as Reagan or Trump. Obama was super popular as president, but the backlash of a black man being in charge lead to crackers trying to undermine his legacy damn near three administrations later. Hell Trump is a protest votes for white people “wanting their country back” You would like Obama ran the country like Huey P Newton the way cacs cry about him. I had one cac i work with tell me that he caused division in America and made everything about race. They act like racism was invented in 2008. shyt is hilarious. So the days of Obama being a king maker are over. It’s time to move on and get fresh ideas.

people are reading too much into Kamala's loss imo
Yes racism and misogyny played a small part but it was the fact that dems and by extension, kamala, were the incumbent and were perceived to have done a bad job (factually accurate or not, it's what the citizens believe that matters).

exit poll had over 60 percent of participant saying they are unhappy with the economy and overall direction of the country

Unpopular incumbents have always done badly in both midterms and general elections. voters are reactionary and will vote dems back in if their social and financial situation doesn't improve or deteriorates

her loss is not that deep

The pendulum of power will always swing back and forth between both parties as if always has and always will.

Never understood why you had some people on here saying that Republicans would never take power back due to to abortion or other subjects like we hadn’t seen history play out many times before.

Ur dumb or dense if u don't think there's gonna be a difference.

They are all about making a profit for them and their friends they could care less about the common person. 1/3 of the federal jobs going and most likely replaced with the cheap alternative like AI suppled by who? Controlled by who (until the AI tells them to do one) And who will profit off that? while also getting rid of the checks and balances people so they won't have anyone to go against them to give them free reign. Just like how million and billionaires and corporations like it. Sounds mighty similar to what happened in the Manufacturing industry and the Trade Unions in the last 40-50 years. And what happened to those again?

Exactly

People forget that republicans have had some of the most dominant electoral college wins in history. Richard Nixon won every single state apart from one (MA) in 1972 only for dems to take back the white house in 76

When Reagan and Bush senior dominated electorally for 12 years between them, many at the time would have lost all hopes that dems could ever regain power in the not so distant future only for clinton to defeat the incumbent bush snr

Speaking of Bill clinton, He was summed US election up well when He famously said "it's the economy, stupid"

Man to Man both Trump and Obama know the hierarchy, that is the only opinion that matters, not public perception.

These conservatives were monitoring Black conversations about Obama.

Once Trump starts his fukkery Black folks of this generation will wake up and jump off of this apathy BS.

Yep, black folk got off code when discussing Obama in public spaces. Now those GOP CACs sent black bothsiders to put a wedge in the black community
