SEC will always be the premier conference from an overall talent perspective as they have the best recruitment grounds in they backyard

But as far as them dominating other conferences on the field?

They'll be successful because the of in-state talent and a CFB system designed to keep B1G and SEC on top.


Instead of letting in ALL G5 and P4 conference champs...it's just the P4 + 1 G5. That allows the committee to stack the at-large slots with the #2, #3 and #4 SEC and B1G teams each. That'll artificially inflate their numbers. The top P4 blue bloods will still be the best but the next level down P4 schools will lack depth. Much more beatable.
