Jones and King should never be benched. They're so much more talented than Randall and Rollins. Randall's dumbass blew a coverage when Dalton had that intentional grounding.
Just got back. Josh Jones is the real deal :wow:

Unbelievable game from Jones. It looks like Capers made the right adjustment to keep Jones on the field and bring Burnett in as a standard linebacker.

Rookie safety Josh Jones finally saw significant playing time and made a major impact. Jones made a team-high 12 tackles, three of them for loss, and had two sacks. One of those sacks came on a big third-down play near the end of the third quarter and cost the Bengals eight yards, which looked big when kicker Randy Bullock was wide right on an ensuing 48-yard field goal attempt. Jones also made the third-down tackle that forced the Bengals to punt the ball away in overtime.

That 0 wins in OT stat was :scust: but apparently he didn't even get a chance to touch the ball 4 of those times :patrice:

So what’s the deal? Well, like everything in football, there is no one singular reason for Aaron Rodgers’ OT woes, though the playoff ones can easily be explained. In those three playoff losses, Rodgers never touched the ball in overtime. Ever. In that wild 51-45 wild-card loss to Arizona in 2009, Rodgers led Green Bay to a game-tying TD on his final drive, then never went out on offense again (except for one kneel down play at the end of regulation.) In last year’s NFC championship loss to the Seahawks, Rodgers drove the Packers 58 yards in one minute, got a game-tying field goal with 19 seconds left and the Packers lost on a Seattle touchdown on the opening drive of overtime. And then on Sunday, of course, Rodgers threw a Hail Mary on the final play of regulation, lost not one, buttwo coin tosses and saw his playoff hopes dashed after three plays.

In three overtime losses, Rodgers touched the ball just once after bringing his team back from deficits with under six minutes remaining. That’s just rough luck. In regulation, the losses were more on him. He had one without getting the ball, another after he fumbled for a game-losing TD on the opening possession (that’s obviously on him), threw an interception that led to a Washington game-winning touchdown and then went three-and-out in another to lose the game (and then also had a tie with Minnesota.)

Why has Aaron Rodgers been so awful in playoff overtimes?

Ty Montgomery played more snaps (139) than any running back in the NFL in the first two games, and he was a busy man against the Bengals. But he didn’t get a lot done: Montgomery rushed 12 times for 35 yards and caught eight passes for just 15 yards. He didn’t get much help from a patchwork offensive line missing starting left tackle (David Bakhtiari), and with right tackle Bryan Bulaga still gimpy with a sprained ankle that sidelined him for the day early in the fourth quarter.

This is troubling considering he's a large part of the offense. MM is going to wear him out if he doesn't find a way to utilize his other backers.

Watching Chris Thompson wreck the raiders (after being a 5th round draft pick) means we can find someone to give him a spell. Clearly that guy isn't on our roster at this point.

The offensive line injuries are playing a role. Bengals are tough to run on even in best of situations

MM's lack of creativity also shows up again :blessed:

Just got home. First half was bad yes, we know, but Ima skip all that and just say that 2nd half and OT from Rodgers was ridiculous. While we shouldn't let it come down to that, the fact that we have him and he's able to do shyt like that is just special. Had his OLine not giving him time in the 1st half (much better in the 2nd), and WRs dropping balls on key 3rd downs (what's up with Marty B?) and still managed to find a way to win that game. I mean, I looked at Ty's stats: dude had 12 targets, 8 receptions for 15 yards. I mean, how the hell is that possible. 8 catches for 15 yards. FIFTEEN!?! That's absurd. And the fact that Cincy's RBs were catching and running all over us, we gotta find a way to get Ty into better situations.

Shoutout to the defense too. Held them to 3 points in the 2nd half, and Josh Jones played his way onto the field in a big way. Dude made some big plays for us, and is a big reason they were limited to 21 in the 1st half. Kenny Clark is gonna be GOOD. This defense clearly needs Mike Daniels and Nick Perry in the lineup (especially Daniels), but if Jones can keep making progress, and the way we adjusted in the 2nd half, when them 2 get back, I think we can have something on that side of the field. Offensively though? Man, was that 1st half ugly, and while we turned it around (thanks again AROD) in the 2nd half, no reason we shouldn't have been able to put 35-40 on that team.

Ok, now I just wanna let y'all know about that overtime. We (the crowd) were INSANE for that defensive possession. It was a fukking MADHOUSE. We were so damn loud the whole time Cincy had the ball that all I could do was smile while clapping, just soaking in that moment. I love shyt like that, and to experience it, and be a part of it in person was soooooo dope. When Cincy called that TO to start OT I knew we had them fukkers.

Oh yeah, how did I almost forget: GERONIMOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

2-1, next up Da Bears (Still Suck) on Thursday Night back at Lambeau. Let's get it. #GoPackGo

That AZ game is a lie. Rodgers did get the ball in OT and we lost the game due to the no call face mask fumble.

My input: yea imma be THAT guy.

Nice win and all but it just shows how crappy we are at skilled positions not named QB. We struggled....at home....against the Bengals....let that soak in. This suppose to be a better team from years past. This suppose to be a super bowl bound team. Its not and it wont be. Its the same team we fielded out in 2011, 2012, 2013,
2015, and 2016. I skipped 2014 because we actaully had a good team but shyt coaching and choke jobs with some luck beat us. It was fun and exciting to see the win today but if u take the rose colored glasses off, i see an average at best team. With the way minnesota and detroit are playing, we might miss the playoffs while those two make it. Chicago is no gimmie, hell no game against this team is no gimmie, and i wouldnt be surprise if we lost. Its still fukk the bears all day every day though
