Sean Payton- Nathaniel Hackett might have done the worst coaching job in the history of the NFL last year

I watched the game and it seems to me that Russ knows that he may be the scapegoat for this ass team.

He's playing like he doesn't want any blame. He's making the easy play and putting the ball in his WRs hands.

I don't blame him

I dunno if Payton wants to fire Vance though

If you fire Vance and still get shytted on then the blame shifts to him. As long as he had Russ and Vance taking heat, he’s fine in the eyes of the media

Cant even blame Russ he looks decent this year.
Payton's been on some really weird time with Russ too. He had Russ on the field late in the 4th in that game, bruh you're down 50 you can wave the white flag, what if he tears his ACL or has some freak injury out there?

I think Payton knew it was gonna be a long rebuild and was looking to scapegoat Russ, he's been publicly shytting on him basically since training camp if not sooner. You can't get a 70 piece dropped on your head and walk away from it
There isnt really any such thing as a ‘long’ rebuild in todays league. And Denver certainly doesn’t come close to it. Roster-wise their floor should be .500 and it wouldn’t have surprised anyone to see them make the playoffs. On paper they should have easily been 2-0

I do agree that Payton crossed the line in his criticism of Wilson. He figured everybody hates Russ so he could clown him too. Overplayed his hand. It’s almost like a ‘I can make fun of my homie but you can’t’ type of thing. He sounded like an outsider and that’s probably why they ain’t playing for him he in his own world resting on that 1 ring

Ehhh, they're very shaky on the OL, their defense has some decent players but clearly the scheme the DC runs ain't working, their rushing game is trash(mostly on OL but their young RB blew his knee up and is coming back) and their WRs are very overrated.

They also play in a division with the best team in the conference. They've got a long road back to relevance.

He tried that cute bullshyt Onside kick with the Raiders on the opening drive of the opening game.

:hhh:

fukk outta here. It's been downhill since. fukk Denver as a label, a staff and a motherfukking crew.

He stopped popping shyt after they 70 piece.
Now he feels comfortable yelling at Ciara's husband. He needs to change his ways and He needs to start with the man in the mirror.
