Disgusting. This is from a governor who needed the whole national party apparatus to rally behind her just to barely win in a deep blue state acting like she has mandate of heaven.

Hochul was put in the big seat signed off on popular legislation and consolidated power getting potential opponents out of the paint early to avoid an actual contested primary.
NYers aren't any better off than before. I'd actually argue they're worse off because at least Cuomo was term limited.

Was this thread not littered with folks saying they wants Cuomo out over this scandal, not because they believed the scandal actually had merit, but mainly because they didn't like his handling on the nursing homes during covid (I can quote you and @King Static X)
So pardon me, for pointing out as I did then, that pushing Cuomo out to annoint Hochul did nothing to elicit change in policy and political approach.
