I will never forgive them for this. I'm not talking about that bullshyt match this year. I can't believe they dropped the ball on this. They had about a good 10 years to do this match and fukked it up. Imagine at let's say, WrestleMania 25. When undertaker still had the streak and was still in shape, And still had that Aura, vs John, who was the Face of the company, and the Superman of the Wwe universe. "The Streak Vs Superman". These muthufukas had all this time to do this and literally wait until the undertaker is fukking old and slow and only wrestles once a year, and Cena already has one foot out the door. They're both shades of they former selves And the Streak is over. And that's when you do the match? It's fukking mind boggling to me. They ruined a potential GOAT feud and Match At WrestleMania.

It had the most nonsensical buildup too. Cena can’t get a match on the card because nobody wants to book him, so he wants a match with taker, for no reason in particular. Taker doesn’t reply in any way at all, so cena calls him a coward who’s too busy working out (don’t forget a few months earlier he referred to taker as an old man with a bad hip). Still no reply. This goes on for weeks, cena gets into a fight with Elias at wrestlemania, taker shows up and squashes cena in 3 minutes, and then it’s never mentioned again.

The buildup was funny on an ironic level. Like, they were actually treating the match like this and making Cena look like a loser. 
It's a shame these two never really feuded or had a PPV match when Cena was in his prime and Undertaker was guaranteed to have at least the second-best WrestleMania match every year.

I'm a HUGE HHH mark,but i would have lost my shyt if Sting took on Taker at WM instead, maybe it would have happened had Stings back not given out.
I remember reading that Austin vs Hogan was a plan for WM 18,but somehow things got changed,with Austin ending up with Hall and Rock vs Hogan happening instead. Not sure why it didn't happen later on either.

The feud they had during Cena’s early thuganomics run was dope but I honestly never wanted to see it at a Mania once Cena was on top bc I believe they would’ve had him beat the streak. It would’ve been fun to see them in a feud when Taker was really good in the ring between 07’-09’ tho.
