the bulls had 2 other all stars groupie + they also added kukoc who made an instant impact , the bulls went 4-6 without pippen that season they were NOT a championship team without Jordan they were an overachieving regular season team. They lost to a team they had beaten the previous 4 times in the playoffs

wade did the exact same thing without Lebron foh
:mjlol: Yeah dummy with Michael fukking Jordan and Scottie Pippen. It took them seven games to beat them in 1992 and 6 games to beat them in 1993. Guess how long the series went with Pete Myers subbing in for Jordan? 7 games. Those two all-stars were on the Bulls the season prior :russ:Why is it so hard for ya'll to comprehend? The only significant difference was a rookie Toni Kukoc and some cat from Italy replacing the best player in the league and yet they still won close to 60 games and were a game away from beating the Eastern Conference champs.

2016 isn't even remotely the same.. That Heat team was completely different, the Heat were not legitimate contenders, they did not push the eventual Eastern Conference Champs to 7 games, it took them 7 games just to get out of the first round while the 94 Bulls swept their opponent.

:snooze:
Heat lose in 7 2nd round with no lebron bulls lost in 7 2nd round with no Jordan period. You lookin up series on basketball reference I remember this era

same difference. Except the bulls had a way better team , you tryin to down play kukoc like he wasn’t hitting game winners averaging double digits off the bench to go with 3 all stars

Pippen should know by now that its nothing wrong with being considered the greatest sidekick ever. And with Jordan ANYONE was playing second fiddle to him at his peak.

The same thing happened with a washed up Wade in 2016. Took the Raptors to seven games in the ECSF with no Chris Bosh or Whiteside (from Gm 3 onwards).

Replace LeBron with an all-star SF like KD, Melo or even Rudy Gay during the prime Heatles year and they still win at least 2.
Y'all nikkas say ANYTHING on this fukking place :mjlol:

With Wade's health problems in 2012 and '13 ain't no damn way they're winning shyt with a lesser SF. Miami need Bron to carry them in stretches during those runs and were on the brink of elimination multiple times.

Scottie Pippen was the original point forward, lockdown defender, score, pass and rebound at a high level. Dudes be treating him like a role player. I understand his frustration.

Pippen had a chance to erase "sidekick" forever when the Blazers faced the Lakers in playoffs.
Bad officiating , but he was on the court when that epic comeback happened, and he missed a big 3 pointer that might have stopped the Lakers momentum.

Dude was 36 with a fukked up back,it was a miracle he could even be a positive contributor at that point tbh
If Jordan was playing and healthy that play getting drawn up for him, regardless :hubie:

Scottie could score but he wasnt a GREAT scorer, that was his only weakness
bolded is literally facts, Pippen was more of leader than Jordan back in those days, as far as rallying guys and making sure everybody was in the right position

Jordan lead thru action and intimidation to certain extent, Pippen doesn't get his due credit but those Houston and Portland days leave alot to be desired :francis::scust:

Dude was basically 60-70% of himself physically once he left Chicago. Once back issues come, you are getting taken down a peg....honestly worse than.knee injuries

Pip is my favorite player of all time. As a kid, I would try to play defense like him. Couldnt relate to Mike but shyt was too easy....same reason I liked Batman better than Superman

Pip was a sidekick and there is no shame. Playing next to Jordan, anyone is gonna be considered #2. That's just how it was gonna be. Dude is maybe the best#2 of all time....embrace that

I get what he thinks.....when mike left, he was top 3 in MVP voting....balled out and almost led a team with fukking Pete Myers as starting SG to the ECF if weren't for that fakkit Hue Hollins:pacspit:

Had the cheap ass Bulls even just got a decent solid starting SG,not even an allstar, they woulda made Finals without Mike....cuz pete Myers starting is basically like getting the best dude from a dec league to play in.the pros....dude scored 4 ppg a game:mindblown: Kukoc was good but dude was putting up 11/6...

Grant was the 2nd best player and he was just really solud
Nikkas act like he was Luka....he was a really good bench dude who came up.big when he had to

TLDR.....pip should be realistic about his situation but put some spek on his name too

Is it really fair to expect that from him at 35? That Blazers team didn't have a clear cut best player they were the Pistons West in that regard.
He was a sidekick, pippen was the perfect compliment to Jordan he wouldn’t of been the player he was without his role in the triangle offense. Dude offensive bag wasn’t like kahwi or pg or grant hill or penny etc

dude got 6 championships gets erroneously called the greatest perimeter defender ever & still whining

I could see kobe not feelin being called a sidekick not pippen
He had a 30 perimeter player next to him so it was never called on him to develop into a near perfect scorer, though Penny's "bag" isn't all that deeper than Pippen.

He wouldn't be a champion with them but if Pippen stays in Seattle he probably becomes an All-Star regardless.

honestly him being such a chatty patty as of recent years (also said bron was better than mj) is tarnishing his legacy more than any drama from his playing days....all these years he was looked at as a solid dude/ride or die that played his role but was a killa....name dropped in countless rap songs singing his praises..

come to find out his just a scorn bitter hoe with a floozy for a BM....coulda just kept quiet and let this fire ass documentaries like last dance continue to build his legacy
That's not what The Last Dance did though...

Yep. He was the leader of the squad and show he can carry the team as the leader in two seasons without Jordan. It sucks that sports media ignore the facts.
