I haven’t watched any wrestling in a few years. I’m way out of the loop with all things wrestling.
That's the blessing of japanese wrestling breh. You don't have to invest in a lot of time to play catch up for the promotion because it's not focus on heavy duty story lines like wrestling over here. It's all about checking out for the matches or tournaments, then chuck the peace. No involving storylines beyond the "I'm better than you" type of format. Hence why it's easier to just dive into a long ass Japanese match, than feel clueless to watching something like the Boneyard match or even the MOTY Stadium Stampede match
