To be fair, that was the way they announced it at comic conYeah the whole horror thing was just assumed by websites because of Derrickson’s past films. It’s why Feige had to come out and clarify.

Also could’ve liked the exorcism of Emily rose directed by Scott Derick...oh too soonIf they want PG-13 horror maybe they liked Josh Boone's New Mutants and will give it to him
Baby Driver sucked and the first Ant-Man is actually good IMO so let's not give him credit for automatically outdoing what was actually done.
And if I understand the Marvel making process correctly, Derrickson might not have had sole creative vision of the action sequences. But I do agree, I think Dr. Strange had some insanely dope ones.
Like I said, I don't think any Marvel movie is a 10/10 so you are right. But nothing has gone below a 6/10 either. Just my opinion.
I’m wondering if marvel wanted to pull a age of ultron and cram multiverse of madness with a lot of world building limiting the direction of the story.
but it’s most likely got to do with the horror tone that SD wanted to go with cause Feige kept backtracking on that in every interview/presentation I’ve seen.
That’s what I was thinking as well they could be using This movie to set up the next event film which I think will be Hickman version of Secret Wars. That story revolves around the multiverse and different versions of characters.

Good CSI work, homie. I’d read rumors of them wanting to introduce a lot in this movie too. Didn’t know Scott was going through it. That’s wild.
Rumor on reddit is that they wanted to make DS2 a major event film (Civil War). Probably didn't think he had time to pull it off.....then add in the fact it probably wasn't going to be the movie he wanted to make.
Well, people are stupid. They still said it would be PG13. Said it’s possible to do horror without it being R rated. Peoples stupidity creating false expectations isn’t new but fukk, we should be smarter at this point.I think that people let their expectations get away from them, as if they were going to do something like The Thing, Reanimator, From Beyond or Phantasam.

But all the stuff @Dr. Narcisse just posted seems like the much more plausible situation. Scott pitched one movie, studio said “bet! Now let’s also add this this this and this” at the last minute, hires someone to replace his best friend, the changes keep coming and here we are
Clearly it won't be a 'Brother' you patriarchic swine, and 'Voodoo' is a racially insensitive moniker so the character will be turned into the feminist twitter approved version Sister Magic.
Sorry if you liked it. I didn't. lol
I could tell by it tying in with WandaVision which seems like a House of M adaptation it was going to be an Avengers light movie like Civil War. Surprised Derrickson was the last to know.

My bad, how could I be so insensitive. That is not the Marvel wayClearly it won't be a 'Brother' you patriarchic swine, and 'Voodoo' is a racially insensitive moniker so the character will be turned into the feminist twitter approved version Sister Magic.
