I know you don't know anything about anything @Dirty_Jerz but milions of years ago (not thousand) earth's atmosphere used to contain a lot more oxygen then it does now, allowing things to grow to massive sizes, including giant insects.

excuse me friend i think you have mistaken what ive said and put it into your own view which is perfectly fine because its a simple mistake
the only thing i was actually pointing to was that these things you listed are infact made of natural things on the planet, but in the case you are making we havent always been manipulating genes in laboratories trying to swell ant hands to the max and spreading aids/cancer for research purposes which sadly is very true not falsafied.
im not sure how accurate this is but we would probably all die out sooner from spreading uncurable mutation sickenesses than taking minerals from the earth which has alot more mass than all humans put together, also i am not islamic and i am not crucifying all scienctists(Dr. Abouheif is a muslim biologist) but i think you might have missed the part in the article that mentions this technique he found to be used on crop plants to increase nutritional value(GMO product) and also that the "crazy growth" of cancer is possibly "hidden ancestreal" potential so i dont think i am reaching at all here friend, please read carefully so we do not make these mistakes in the future
