I can understand not being able to copy over game saves, but I'm not buying that you won't be able to re-download your purchases on PS4 via your account info screen.

And with how Sony has developed cloud game save sharing with PS+ I would assume you can have access to PSN game saves via the cloud.

Unless people are going to lose their PSN tags and Sony is going to make everyone start out on PS4 with a different name, I find it hard to believe people won't be able to download their shyt like they've been doing this gen.

Is there any indication that it won't (at least at some point) be PS1 and PS2 BC? PS1 BC via emulation should be trivial at this point. Esp for an x86 CPU. PS2 BC via emulation should be plenty possible too in my opinion. Just may not be available day 1 since someone has to actually write the emulator.

Because if you looked at how sony has handled most things, like say Backward compatibility with the ps3 you'd realize they would rather just charge you for the games you already own Nintendo style.
Thats the entire purpose of them buying the cloud shyt. It wasn't needed for BC, they said "Lets make money this way"

Yeah, you can't just play games that are designed for PS3 due to being games that are built for the Cell CPU.
