No. People saw the social links and similar themes and started thinking it made more sense to compare Scarlett Nexus to Persona instead of action heavy RPGs like Astral Chain creating fukked up expectations for themselves.

im not even sure why people compare it to arise, they are completely different games. I’ve been saying this from day one.

Scarlett Nexus is more of a character action game with rpg elements.

I finished Yuito back when this came out and haven’t touched it since, going back and playing this definitely needs a sequel

yeah, if:

if you can accept the story is gonna be over the top and wacky early on
if you don't treat it like a persona game
if you understand that putting points into abilities is more important than putting points into stats in an action rpg

i loved it for the record
