Okay, I saw someone say this is the best Tiny Desk ever. While I cannot say that, it is actually up there in the top tier conversation BECAUSE every song was a knock.

And the arrangements were simply incredible. Might be better than Juvies ep musically speaking

First of all great to see he's feeling better, Some might've forgot he wasn't doing too well a couple of years back

2nd - here's a download link if anyone's interested

Yeah COVID wrecked him and he had kidney failure after that. Good to know he's fully back.

It was a wonderful show and also Mike Dean is a genius on the keys and behind the boards.

I was thinking about this yesterday, I have never came across a real hiphop head online or in person who doesn't have Scarface at least in their top 5-10 of all time. Not to get into the weeds but the back nine of his discography is not as strong as the beginning but its still strong, the concert showed 'face still has the passion for it.

I agree b/c the front end is so loaded with classic songs and moments but let's not act like the back part of his catalog isn't very damn good. I think the mainstream didn't focus on Face's music over the past 10-15 b/c it just wasn't where music was headed but I'll be damn if I still don't listen to his more recent shyt as well. He was still making better music than most of the industry with those releases. Most people haven't listened but this album is one of my favorite group albums from Face. His chemistry with Will Hen and Young Malice (not Clipse) was amazing.

Yeah that was a dope project, very underrated.. 'Face is the epitome of a rappers favorite rapper.

Him having his entire life/musical work tied to RAL hindered him from a lot of the mainstream success, money, and accolades unfortunately..

They were a small label without the big resources but if he would've been signed to a major early on it would have probably hindered his musical creativity, growth, and he would be a totally different artist and probably would've faded out. It's a lot I dislike about J-prince but 'Face being on RAL was a necessary evil..
