Some movies just cant be remade. This is one of em. The type of acting cant be displayed or replicated. The most you can justifiably do is make a sequel/prequel. But to tackle a movie like this doin the same exact script and everything just aint right.

Nah fukk that homey that shyt is cinematic masterpiece. It has aged well cuz it can stand up to movies made today. Its highly regarded as one of the best movies ever made. Its like Terminator 2, if u go back and watch it now the graphics aint as good as wats out now but it would be a travesty to try and remake it cuz its just simply classic and iconic

Scarface is a remake of a movie called Scarface. They updated it to be a Cuban coke dealer.

The original's pretty dope. I think the 80s Scarface is too engulfed in today's culture to be successful. Would just piss people off. My younger brother's 15 and has seen the 80s version multiple times. Most people never even heard of the OG version.

Caught the og version on cinemax one night shyt was ill...Imakes it even that much crazier how they made the 80s version completely different while staying true to the original to a point.

Flash forward to today where all we will get is a straight shot for shot remake but with some insane stupid twist to a character watch Tony be a closet homo instead of secretly wanting to sex his sister deep down.

I had always heard of this movie, but never actually saw it til like 1996. I remember seeing it the first time and couldn't figure out what all the hype was about back then. And I thought pacinos accent was pure laughable. But as time passed I grew to love this movie like almost everyone else.
